Vacation

Well, not really a vacation but Mike took a week off last week so we spend time together as family. (Since Mike's been working, we haven't really done anything together and he hadn't taken his time off.) We went to Sea World (We got a season pass) on Wednesday and Birch Aquarium at UCSD on Friday. We had so much fun!

-SEA WORLD-
It was a gorgeous day at Sea World. Mike thought it was so much better than what he expected and Abbie loved it. Since it was in January, there were not that many people there so we got to do lots of fun stuff without pushing the crowd!
We started out at Sesame Street park ground. They had many different kid rides, which Abbie wasn't sure about it at first but seemed to enjoy it after a ride or two.

After the rides we saw penguins

We went to four different shows. First, dolphins

second, sea lions

third, Sesame Street 3D show

and fourth, Shamu. (There were five total shamus)

We got to touch the dolphins! Abbie and I also got splashed by a dolphin.

We went though a tunnel and saw sharks swimming right by and above us.

There were many different aquariums. Abbie loves to sit in front of the tank. She would have stayed in front of it for forever.

Now that we have the season pass, we are planning on going (at least Abbie and I) about once a week. Abbie was so tired and fell asleep in the car on the way home.

-BIRCH AQUARIUM-
On Friday, we went to Birch Aquarium at UCSD.

The kelp forrest was huge!

There were many colorful fish tanks, which we miss our salt water tank very much. Abbie loves to sit in front of the fish tanks and watch fish and corals. It seems like she cannot get enough of it. She recognized clown fish and said "Nemo" many times. We got to touch the starfish and play with toys.

The view was beautiful.

It was great to have Mike home for a week and spend time together. Abbie loved to have dadda home and so did I. I could tell she misses her dadda (and me, too). Mike played with her and had a lot of father-daughter time. She woke up this morning and asked for dada and realized he wasn't home and made her sad. She grabbed my phone and asked to call dada. We are truly blessed to have a wonderful husband and a father. He works really hard to support us and he is always there for us when we need him. We love him so much! I hope we can make more time together and do lots of fun stuff!
