I used the rubber ducky that tells if the water is too hot (for Amy to keep) on top of the cake. The round circles are bubbles. While I was making it, Abbie kept stealing the bubbles so I ended up having to make more. She loves fondant. Well, anything sweet. To keep her hands off the cake was definitely a challenge.

It was tough trying to take care of my grandma and Abbie at the same time I made the cake. It took more than I wanted to but it's done. Grandma has been staying with us for about 10 days now. She will be going home on Tuesday. It's been a stressful couple of weeks.
Next week, I'm making a cake for a surprise birthday party. I don't want him/her to find out so I won't mention it until after the party. Just in case. It should be fun.
I love making fondant cakes. It's a lot of work but when I see the finished cake, it makes me feel good and worth my time. Can't wait to do more and get better (and faster) at it.
