Since we are almost done with the backyard, we decided to start gardening this year. We planted zucchini, squash, cucumber, lettuce, kale, spinach, tomatoes (6 different kinds), pumpkin, squash, cantalope, peppers, beets, carrots, peas and snow peas, Japanese eggplant, Japanese raddish, chives, mint, peppermint, sage, oregano, and basil. So far it's been growing well and we are getting tons of fresh vegetables and herbs from our garden. Abbie's favorite is the grape tomatoes and peas. She waits for the tomatoes to turn red and she goes and picks them all the time. She loves to help out with the gardening. She's amazed that she got vegetables from tiny seeds.

Yum, your garden looks awesome.
You make me jealous...well maybe not you must put a lot more work into it than I put into ours :)
Wow! That's so cool! We tried a garden here in Texas once but only got green beans one time. Then nothing ever grew again. It's just so dang hot here.
Wow! Your garden is like a farmer's market! That's so awesome. Someday I can have my own garden too :)
Gardening is a great way to spend time with your family!

That is AWESOME! Our strawberries never make it into the house, my girls always eat them on our way to the car or to the house. How fun!
