Ella's night time & baby blessing

I haven't been good at keeping blog updated... anyway, Ella is now 2 and a half months old! Where did the time go? I feel like there's not enough time in a day BUT I am just happy that because I put Ella on a schedule, she's been sleeping really good at night. And for the first time last night, she slept from 9pm to 6 am! I couldn't believe it. She's been sleeping about 6-7 hours for a while but 9 hours definitely helped me get some rest :) She did wake up once at 4 am but when I gave her a binky she fell right back to sleep. I just hope she will keep sleeping through the night. I'm sleep deprived and need more sleep. I usually plan to take a nap during the day but never did/do. I'm praying that she will sleep really well and stay on her schedule until she starts teething... maybe then she'll do well. who knows but I am just excited I got a great night sleep in a very loooooooong time!

It's also have been so fun to have Ella up more during the day and how much she talks and loves to smile :) She has the cutest smile and it makes me happy to watch her and listen to her. I've been stressed out about how to deal and handle Abbie's rebellious attitude/words. It helps me to get through the day with Ella's smile. I don't want to be negative so I won't really go into detail about Abbie but she is really trying my patience lately and I'm usually good about being patient but not this time... I need to keep trying. She just like to fight back and say really mean things. I hope it won't last long.

Anyway, on a happy note, Ella was blessed on the 27th. Mike's parents were able to drive down to spend time with us for three days. Also my parents and the two youngest sisters came up from San Diego and family friends came too. It was a great day. Ella was so good during the blessing and her blessings were amazing! It was just what I wanted for her. Mike told me that while giving her the blessing, she kept her eyes on him the whole time like she was really listening and understanding what was said. Even the bishop commented during the sacrament the same thing Mike told me right after the blessing was done. I am so blessed to have such a happy baby. Ella's been a great baby and only cries when she wants food or tired. Other than that she doesn't cry but loves to smile and talk. I am the luckiest mom for having Abbie and Ella in my life and of course I'm also the luckiest wife for having Mike as my husband ;) He's been a great support and helped me transition with having another one. It isn't easy but it is so worth having kids.
