Mike and I celebrated our 5th year wedding anniversary on the 31st of March! I cannot believe how time flies! I think I say that all the time but it's true. It seems like everyday is shorter and not enough time to do anything I need to get done (or want to do, which rarely happens). Anyway, I'm counting my many blessings from the last five years since I married Mike. I'm so grateful for Mike and always being there for me. I am so blessed to have my own happy family :) They make me happy and want to be a better mom/wife. Mike and I have grown so much closer to each other than we have ever been and cannot wait to spend the rest of my eternity with him. We didn't do anything special (little hard with a newborn) so we celebrated it by eating out but it was so nice to just be with him. I really didn't care how we spent the day except to just be with him. I'm not picky and not high maintainence (well I don't think so but maybe I'm wrong and need to be more humble? LOL) just to be with my family brings me a lot of joy. I don't need a big house, a big diamond ring, etc (I can name so many things) to make me happy and Mike knows that (I hope lol). He tries to spend the little time he has with us. He is such a great husband/father.
Now that he is the Elder's Quorum President, he doesn't have a lot of time but he is there when we need him. He makes me happier than I thought I could ever be. I thought I knew what love was before but now I really know what LOVE is and it's going to continue to grow each day. I love you MIKE!
-----I hear people say that they wish they could go back in time. I never really had a desire to even wanting to go until now. I wish I could go back and tell myself that I don't need to worry about the future because the Lord has a great plan for me and always remember to have FAITH. (I used to worry about that a lot that I'm going to have a hard and miserable life) It's amazing how the Lord is aware of us, loves us, and wants the best of us. He has a great plan for me. I met a great husband and have two beautiful daughters who I love so much. I hope I can be more like the Savior and spread much joy , love, and happiness to all my family and friends. ------

wow! 5 years! that's awesome! it seems like yesterday when we were at byu-idaho talking about who is dating who and all that stuff. lol. i am so happy that you are happy! you are an awesome wife and mom! thanks for being such a great example to me. i miss you!
