Abbie is now 4!

Abbie turned 4 on July 7th and we had her birthday party on the 30th. We wanted to do it earlier but we had things going on almost every weekend and happen to do it at the end of the month. Abbie has been so excited to have a birthday party where she was able to invite her friends. Mike and I have decided to throw birthday parties for our kids when they turn 4, 8, 12, and 16. (18 years old for graduation trip to their choice -well hopefully we can afford it by then. lol) Anyway back to the birthday girl. She wanted to have Tangled themed party to that's what we did and it turned out great! I wanted to relate everything to the theme but ran out of time and money (lol) so I did the best I could to entertain 2-5 year olds. We had lots of family and friends over and she had so much fun! but before I post all the pictures here are Abbie's updates:

height- above average (41" tall)
weight- below average (34 lbs) -jealous... skinny and tall. lol
her favorite acitivites: painting, helping mom with baking, play with Ella, swimming, spelling words-school work, she wants to go to Elementary school NOW so Mike told her she has to learn to read before she can start school so now she can spell all the basic colors now because that's what she wanted :), read books, coloring, and of course she LOVES to sing and dance. She is a princess, always dressed up in Disney characters everyday. She also likes to play with Pet shops, legos, Polly Pockets, and anything princess.

She is such a great older sister and loves Ella so much. She makes her laugh almost everyday. It's so cute. well she is cute most of the time. She thinks she can talk back (say things like Don't tell me what to do! You are mean! etc) I'm sure I don't have to list everything she says. lol. She has such a leadership ability (already leading friends). I guess she is a typical 4 year old and sad to say that she's not my baby anymore. Oh and can't forget to mention what she said after she turned 4. Before I tell you, when I abbie turned 3, she wanted to turn 4 really bad. Now that she's 4, I thought she was going to say she wants to be 5... no, she said one night, "I want to have my own place" LOL. MIke and I both laughed and asked why? "Because that's what Angie (my sister who just left for college) did. AND I'm going to take daddy's truck!" oh boy, we didn't see that one coming. She's only 4 and she's thinking about moving out and having her own place and of course she loves daddy's truck, she thinks it's her truck when she's able to drive. Next 14 years are going to be very long for her. LOL. enough said, here are the pictures!

This is the best (not to brag but so proud of myself) cake decor I have done so far!!

Thanks for explaining your philosophy about parties. The subject came up last night and we decided to adopt your ages for parties too.

Shennie-I think it hits the important ages to celebrate! Glad we could help ;)

Awesome cake!

But I don't get it, give her the truck, already. Sheesh, you guys are strict! We think that if they're old enough to ask for it...
