so much to update!

So we still need to buy a camera so we can post pictures up. Anyway, we've been busy upgrading our home. Mike finished laying out the woodflooring in den and it looks so great! I'm so proud of him. Mike's been working about 50 hours a week and leaves at quarter to 5 am every morning and gets to work by 6. It's very early... I can't wait until it changes. He told him he is going to work 10 hours for 4 days, which didn't happen. (Which I can't complain because he has a job. I'm grateful he has a job.) We don't see him very much espcially Abbie. He doesn't get home until about 6 o'clock. Well my point is that even though he works long hours at work, he continues to be a great father, a wonderful husband, and works on the house. He's so great. Mike took pictures of the den and the patio with his phone. yes, we finished our patio, too.

Den:
we have our bed in there for my grandma. she is staying with us this weekend.

Downstairs bathroom: (Mike framed the mirror just like I wanted it done!)

Let's see...what else...
I took a cake decorating class (4 weeks course), which was a lot of fun. Now instead of baking just plain cakes, I can bake fun cakes and decorate it! I have to figure out how to get my pictures off my phone without texting it... I will have to update it later and post pictures up.

Abbie is taking her first swimming lessons last Monday for two week sessions and she's one of the top in her class. (Well that's what I think when I compare other kids in her class.) She is not afraid of jumping into the pool, she lets go of me without helping her and can hold her breath for a long time, she can float on her back by herself and I hold her head to help support her, and she can go down and get an object at the bottom of the pool, which she is the only that could do it in her class. She's only 2! She is very natural. She definitely takes after her daddy. She is not afraid of anything. She has one more week of lessons left so we'll update later with pictures and her improvements.

We have grandma since Thursday and she leaves tomorrow (which is Monday). My aunt came down from Utah with grandma and her friend. She is on a vacation with her friend. It's been great having her here. She repeats almost anything over and over again and sometimes can't make it to the bathroom on time but she's doing great for being 85 years old. Grandma comments on how much she loves our house and she has happy and great feelings being in our home, which makes me really happy because all I want for our home to be where everyone can feel safe, happy, loved, comforted, peace, and espcially being close with the spirit and centered our home in our Savior. I'm just grateful to have the gospel and to know that families can be together forever.

When we get internet and I don't have to use Mike's work computer, I will try to update it more often and my goal is to get a camera soon! I miss taking pictures. Now that I have my craftroom I need to start catch up with my scrapbooking. I just have to find time to do it.

It was fun reading your updates! WOW, Mike is super awesome! He did that all by himself? I'm so impressed! Your house looks amazing! It must be so nice having your own house! I think it's such a cool idea for Abbie to take swimming lessons!
