She weighed 6 lbs 4 oz and 19 1/2 inches long. (My mom told me that's exact weight and height when I was born.)
Not to mention the birthday 1-11-11, we will never forget our daughter's birthdays. (Is this telling me something)LOL. Maybe they were determined to have the cool birthdays. We never planned it for Abbie nor Ella. I'm just thrilled to have them here. I am so blessed to have a family and I love them so very much. Mike has been a tremendous help and wonderful husband/father. Mike is always there and I am so lucky to have him. He has been up at night helping me ease the pain and to take care of Ella and Abbie. He made my life so much easier to adjust with another child and especially during the painful recovery. I am still trying to recover espcially with breast engorgement... never felt so much pain andnow over 2 days and I don't know if the pain will ever go away. But when I look at Ella, it's worth it.
It's been quite an adjustment for Abbie but she loves being a BIG sister. She has her moments and fights for attention but she wants to hold and take care of Ella all the time. She loves to talk about her and she is anxiously waiting for her to get bigger so they can play together. Wife and motherhood are more than anything I wanted and it's even better than I have imagined how it would be. I cannot wait to watch them grow and to be a part of their lives.
