3 weeks old

My friend, Jenolyn, took Ella's pictures for us as a gift and she did an amazing work. I wish I had it done with Abbie but hope to get another photoshoot done with Ella and Abbie together sometime this year.














Abbie LOVES her little sister. She wants to hold her, feed her, cuddle with her, etc. She talks about her nonstop to everyone. I am so happy that she is adjusting her life pretty well although she has her moments. It doesn't matter what time of the day it is, she will go check on Abbie and try to wake her up to play with her. Sometimes she even tries to pick her up by herself so I have to keep an eye on her all the time. I'm just thrilled that Abbie is happy to have a little sister. I know they will be best friends :)


As for Ella, she is a good baby. She sleeps well most of the time and getting on a schedule which helps a ton. (She wakes up every 3-4 hours even at night so I get up about twice to feed her.) She eats so much too, I won't be surprised if she's already gained a pound or two in two weeks. She turned three weeks today. It feels like I've always had her. Can't imagine my life without my family. It has been a hard recovery but glad to know that it's pretty much over. Yay! Now I just have to get my life back in order. I feel like I'm always feeding Ella so nothing really gets done but Mike's been great helping me out around the house and get dinner ready even after a long hard day at work.
